About Katrina J. Daroff
A true PNW girl, Katrina enjoys coffee, travel, books (obviously), and anything that allows her to get outside. She graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelors in Creative Writing in 2012 and is currently working toward a Masters of Fine Arts.

The Idea for the Light and Shadow Series came to her in December of 2013 while watching Pirates of the Carribean with her best friend and writing buddy, Ireland Lydon (author of the Fate's Gate Series). Who would have ever thought a silly idea about a magic compass would lead her so far.
